Time series of ice condition

The ice cover in the Caspian Sea is formed each year in the northern region. The present Atlas contains observation data collected at the coastal hydro-meteorological sites. These observations are used to characterise the ice conditions of the Northern Caspian Sea, which is organized by the date of the first registration of ice in the coastal zone and the date when the entire water area becomes ice free.
These data are generalized and presented as graphs that illustrate the climatic dynamics of the Caspian Sea ice conditions.
